1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Rental Added in Georgia

Rent Vintage Car has added the 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer to its Georgia picture car rental options through the USA Movie Cars network. The vehicle is based in Alpharetta, Georgia, giving crews working in the state a local option for a restored 1980s SUV with wood-sided styling. Productions filming in Georgia can contact the network to arrange the vehicle for scenes that need period-accurate background or character transportation.

Spotlight on this 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

This 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer shows a silver exterior paired with cordovan interior and wood sides. The five-door body carries the classic woody appearance that many productions associate with late-1980s family and suburban settings. Restored condition and power accessories allow it to serve as a reliable working vehicle on set without requiring additional fabrication.

The listing notes an AMC 360 cubic inch V8, 4×4 drivetrain, automatic transmission, air conditioning, and power features throughout. These details help location managers and prop masters judge how the vehicle will handle repeated starts, camera moves, and varying weather during a shoot day in Georgia. Producers can review the full set of images on the USA Movie Cars site to confirm angles and details before booking.

Rent Vintage Car and the Georgia Picture Car Market

Rent Vintage Car focuses on vintage vehicles for film and commercial work, and this Jeep fits that category directly. The addition expands options for crews who need a 1980s-era SUV that already carries prior on-camera experience. Alpharetta, Georgia serves as a convenient base for productions shooting in the northern Atlanta metro area or traveling to nearby rural locations.

USA Movie Cars works with state picture-car sites such as Georgia Picture Cars to help productions find local picture vehicles more quickly. This network approach reduces the time spent searching across multiple regions when a project moves between states. Georgia film car and Georgia movie car searches now surface this restored Wagoneer alongside other regional inventory.

History of the 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

The Jeep Grand Wagoneer line reached its final years in the late 1980s with the same boxy silhouette and optional woodgrain trim that had defined the model for decades. By 1989 the vehicle represented the tail end of an era when full-size American station wagons and early SUVs shared similar luxury appointments and body styles. The AMC 360 V8 remained a common powerplant, paired with four-wheel drive for buyers who wanted capability along with the upscale interior.

Productions often select this generation when a scene requires an established family vehicle from the 1980s. The wood sides and chrome accents provide instant visual cues for that decade without needing additional set dressing. The body style also reads clearly in wide establishing shots or background plates where the vehicle sits parked in driveways or along streets.

Georgia Picture Car Rental Uses

Crews can place the 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer in period residential scenes, corporate parking lots, or rural road sequences set in the late 1980s or early 1990s. Its restored appearance works for both foreground character vehicles and background texture in larger crowd scenes. The 4×4 capability gives flexibility when a shot requires the vehicle to move across grass or gravel surfaces common on Georgia locations.

Music videos and commercial shoots have used similar Wagoneers for establishing shots and product integration. Still photography sessions benefit from the wood-sided profile when brands want a vintage family-hauler aesthetic. Event planners have also incorporated the vehicle into weddings and promotional gatherings where guests expect a period-appropriate arrival or photo backdrop.
