1989 Mercury Grand Marquis Rental Added in Florida

Rent Vintage Car has added the 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis to its Florida picture car rental offerings through the USA Movie Cars network. Located in Deltona, Florida, this four-door sedan gives productions a straightforward option for scenes that call for a late-1980s full-size vehicle. Crews working on Florida film car projects can now access the car locally without arranging long-distance transport.

Spotlight on this 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis

The vehicle is described as all original with a creme exterior and brown interior. It carries the GS trim and rides on a sedan body style with four doors, gasoline power, and an automatic transmission. These details make it a match for any production that needs an unaltered 1980s example rather than a modified or replica car.

Producers can use the beige finish and brown cabin to match period-correct references quickly. The car’s standard sedan proportions also help it blend into street scenes or background shots without drawing extra attention unless the script requires it.

Rent Vintage Car and the Florida Picture Car Market

Rent Vintage Car works with USA Movie Cars to connect productions with vehicles listed across the country. In Florida this partnership includes coordination with state-level sites such as Florida Picture Cars so location managers and picture car coordinators can search locally first. Deltona sits in central Florida, which places the car within reach of shoots in Orlando, Tampa, and the surrounding counties.

USA Movie Cars maintains similar relationships with other state picture-car sites to reduce travel time and logistics for crews. When a production needs a vintage car rental in Florida, the network helps surface options like this Grand Marquis that are already in the state.

History of the 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis

The 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis belongs to the generation of full-size sedans that dominated American roads in the 1980s. Built on a rear-wheel-drive platform with a V8 engine option, the model was known for its size and comfort rather than sporty handling. Many examples from this era remain recognizable today because of their boxy lines and chrome accents.

The GS trim positioned the car as a mainstream sedan rather than a luxury or police-package version. Its four-door layout and automatic transmission reflect the standard equipment most buyers chose for family or fleet use during that decade. Productions looking for authentic 1980s background texture often turn to these sedans because they appear in period photographs and news footage without needing further modification.

Florida Picture Car Rental Uses

This Grand Marquis can serve as a character vehicle in stories set in the late 1980s or early 1990s. Its all-original condition keeps the look consistent across multiple takes or camera angles. Florida movie car users have also placed similar sedans in establishing shots of suburban neighborhoods or parking lots to set the time period without dialogue.

Commercials and still photography crews can use the car for lifestyle or product shots that reference the 1980s. Music videos and branded content shoots sometimes need a period sedan for quick cutaways or parking scenes. Event planners have requested comparable vehicles for themed gatherings that want rolling displays rather than static displays.
