Spotlight on this 1993 Former Colorado State Patrol Bronco/Burlington PD

This Ford Bronco carries the exact markings and equipment from its time with the Colorado State Patrol and later the Burlington Police Department. Magnetic signs allow quick changes so the same vehicle can represent different black-and-white departments as needed. All sirens and lights remain functional, and the truck drives well after years of maintained service use.

Crews appreciate the straightforward presentation that matches 1990s patrol aesthetics without added modifications. The SUV body style provides a familiar profile for establishing shots or background elements in street scenes. Its well-kept condition supports repeated takes during longer shoots in Florida.

Rent Vintage Car and the Florida Picture Car Market

Rent Vintage Car works with USA Movie Cars to connect productions with vehicles already positioned in key filming areas. Panama City Beach, Florida, sits within reach of both coastal and inland locations that regularly host commercials, music videos, and independent features. Having this Bronco listed locally reduces transport time for productions that need a 1990s police vehicle on short notice.

USA Movie Cars works with state picture-car sites such as Florida Picture Cars to help productions find local picture vehicles. This network approach lets location managers search by region while still accessing a broader inventory when a specific era or department look is required. The result is faster matching between available vehicles and the needs of Florida film car coordinators.

History of the 1993 Former Colorado State Patrol Bronco/Burlington PD

The Bronco entered service with the Colorado State Patrol in 1993 as a standard patrol SUV during a period when many agencies relied on Ford’s full-size Bronco platform. In 1998 it transferred to the Burlington Police Department, where it continued active duty until 2016. That extended service record places the vehicle squarely in the era when many departments still used body-on-frame SUVs for highway and rural enforcement.

During the 1990s, Broncos like this one appeared in countless patrol fleets across the country. Their boxy shape, roof-mounted light bars, and durable drivetrains made them recognizable to audiences. The magnetic signage system on this example preserves that flexibility, letting the same truck stand in for multiple jurisdictions without permanent graphics changes.

Florida Picture Car Rental Uses

Producers can use this Bronco for 1990s period scenes set in any region that used similar black-and-white patrol vehicles. The working lights and sirens support both day and night shoots where emergency equipment needs to activate on cue. Magnetic department signs let the vehicle switch roles between takes when a script calls for different agencies in the same sequence.

The truck also works for character vehicles, establishing shots of small-town stations, or background texture in larger crowd scenes. Commercial directors have placed similar Broncos in safety campaigns or automotive spots that reference law enforcement heritage. Still photographers and music video crews often request these vehicles for their strong visual presence without requiring extensive set dressing.
