New Jersey Picture Cars Partners with RentVintageCar.com to Supply Authentic Vintage Vehicles for Film and TV
Bringing Period-Accurate Vehicles to New Jersey Productions
New Jersey Picture Cars has joined forces with RentVintageCar.com to give local productions reliable access to authentic vintage and classic cars. The partnership focuses on matching film, television, commercial, and photo-shoot projects with vehicles that match specific eras, all while keeping the cars sourced from within the state whenever possible.
How the Collaboration Works
Through this arrangement, productions filming in New Jersey can request cars directly from a combined inventory that includes both local picture cars and additional options coordinated through RentVintageCar.com. The goal is straightforward: deliver the right vehicle on time without the logistical headaches that come from transporting cars across state lines. Whether a script calls for a 1950s convertible or a 1970s muscle car, the shared resources make it easier to locate period-correct models that already carry the right registration and insurance for on-camera work.
Expanding the Pool of Available Vehicles
One direct benefit of the partnership is a larger selection for production teams. New Jersey Picture Cars maintains its own fleet, while RentVintageCar.com adds national reach. When a project needs something outside the current local stock, the two sites coordinate quickly so crews stay on schedule. This setup also opens doors for New Jersey-based car owners who want their vehicles seen on screen.
Adding Your Classic Car to the National Database
Owners of vintage or classic cars in New Jersey can list their vehicles for free on the USA Movie Cars national database. The process takes only a few minutes and places the car in front of location managers, prop masters, and production coordinators across the country. Once listed, the vehicle becomes visible to teams searching for New Jersey picture cars as well as projects filming elsewhere that may need transport.
Maximizing New Jersey Film Tax Incentives
New Jersey offers film tax credits and other production incentives that reward the use of local resources. Hiring picture cars and crew from within the state helps productions qualify for higher credit percentages and reduces out-of-state spend that can limit those benefits. By working with New Jersey Picture Cars and RentVintageCar.com, productions keep more of their budget in-state while still accessing the exact vehicles required for the story.
Finding Local Talent Through the New Jersey Actors Site
Productions that also need local actors and background talent can visit the New Jersey Actors site. The platform connects directly to the national database at USActors.com, giving casting teams one place to search both vehicles and performers who are already based in the area. This combination of local cars and local talent further strengthens a production’s case for state incentives.
Why RentVintageCar.com Matters for New Jersey Shoots
RentVintageCar.com serves as a central hub for verified vintage and classic car rentals across the country. Productions that book through the site gain access to detailed vehicle specifications, availability calendars, and owners who understand the unique demands of on-camera work. When paired with New Jersey Picture Cars, the result is a streamlined process that keeps both small commercial shoots and larger features supplied with the right cars without unnecessary delays.
