Wisconsin Picture Cars Teams Up with RentVintageCar.com to Supply Authentic Vintage Vehicles for Productions
Productions filming in Wisconsin now have expanded access to period-correct vehicles thanks to a new collaboration between Wisconsin Picture Cars and RentVintageCar.com. This partnership connects filmmakers, commercial directors, and photographers with a wider selection of classic and vintage cars that match specific eras and story requirements without needing to transport vehicles from out of state.
Expanding Local Options for Authentic Vehicles
The alliance focuses on making sure productions can source cars that look right for the time period they are depicting. Wisconsin Picture Cars maintains a curated inventory of locally owned vehicles, while RentVintageCar.com brings additional national reach and booking tools. Together the two platforms give production teams more choices when they need a 1950s sedan for a period drama or a 1970s muscle car for a commercial shoot.
Adding Your Classic Car to the National Database
Owners of vintage and classic vehicles in Wisconsin can list their cars on the USA Movie Cars platform at no cost. Once added, the vehicles become visible to production managers across the country who search for specific makes, models, and years. The process is straightforward and helps owners generate rental income while keeping their cars in active use.
Maximizing Wisconsin Film Tax Incentives
Wisconsin offers film tax credits and other production incentives that reward the use of local resources. Hiring picture cars and talent from within the state helps productions meet the requirements for these benefits. When a project sources vehicles and crew locally, it often qualifies for higher credit percentages and avoids extra shipping or travel costs that can strain budgets.
Why Local Sourcing Matters
Using cars already based in Wisconsin reduces logistics headaches and keeps spending inside the state economy. Production accountants track these expenditures carefully because they directly affect the final tax credit calculation. The result is a smoother workflow and stronger financial return for the project.
Connecting with Local Acting Talent
Productions that also need performers from the area should visit the Wisconsin Actors site. This platform links directly to the national database at USActors.com, giving casting directors quick access to Wisconsin-based actors who can fill supporting roles or serve as extras. Pairing local vehicles with local talent further strengthens eligibility for state incentives.
Exploring RentVintageCar.com for Your Next Project
Filmmakers looking for reliable vintage car rentals will find RentVintageCar.com a practical resource. The site features detailed vehicle listings, availability calendars, and direct communication with owners. Productions can browse options by era, make, or location and secure the right cars well in advance of principal photography.
Building a Stronger Wisconsin Production Network
The partnership between Wisconsin Picture Cars and RentVintageCar.com strengthens the overall infrastructure available to visiting and local productions. By combining regional expertise with a national booking platform, the two services make it easier to keep projects on schedule and on budget while taking full advantage of Wisconsin’s film incentives.
Whether you are planning a feature film, television episode, commercial, or photo shoot, the combined resources now available through this collaboration give you more options for authentic vehicles and supporting talent. Visit Wisconsin Picture Cars to see current inventory, explore additional listings on USA Movie Cars, and book through RentVintageCar.com when your production schedule is confirmed.
